How supply works

From requirement to reorder.

Nine steps take a supply enquiry from a description of what you serve to a confirmed, fulfilled order — and back again when you need more. No lead times or stock are promised in advance; everything is confirmed for your order.

The nine steps

  1. Input

    Understand requirement

Every supply starts with a conversation about what you serve and how — menu, service model, collection or delivery, and what you use today.

    From you
Business type, menu or product list, service model.
    From Firefork
    Questions to clarify the application.
  2. Define

    Define product type

The requirement is translated into product types: containers, boxes, cups, lids, bags, wraps, consumables.

    From you
Confirm which items are in scope.
    From Firefork
A list of product types against your menu.
  3. Define

    Confirm material / application

For each product type, the material preference and application — hot, cold, wet, greasy, delivery — are confirmed.

    From you
Material preference, if any; how food is held and served.
    From Firefork
    Application questions and material options.
  4. Check

    Check quantity

Approximate volumes and whether the requirement repeats help align case sizes and pack quantities.

    From you
    Approximate usage and frequency.
    From Firefork
    Case and pack quantity alignment.
  5. Review

    Source / review options

Suitable products are identified and, where useful, alternatives are set out for comparison.

    From you
    Review options and ask questions.
    From Firefork
    Products, alternatives and available information.
  6. Confirm

    Confirm

The specific products, quantities, pricing, lead time and delivery arrangements are confirmed before anything is supplied.

    From you
    Approve the confirmed list.
    From Firefork
A clear confirmation of what will arrive.
  7. Fulfil

    Fulfil

The order is prepared against the confirmed list. Any change in availability is raised with you before substitution.

    From you
    Be available for any queries.
    From Firefork
    Fulfilment to the confirmed list.
  8. Deliver

    Deliver

Delivery is made to the agreed address under the arrangements confirmed for that order.

    From you
    Access and receiving details.
    From Firefork
    Delivery as arranged.
  9. Reorder

    Reorder

Repeat requirements can be reordered from the confirmed list, with quantities and availability reviewed each time.

    From you
Tell us when you need more — or set a rhythm.
    From Firefork
    Reorder from the agreed list.

After confirmation

Source, confirm, fulfil, deliver, reorder.

Fulfilment follows confirmation. Firefork does not promise stock or delivery windows in advance of an order — availability and arrangements are checked and confirmed for each requirement.

Example supply workflow

  1. 01

    Source

Products that match the confirmed requirement are identified, along with suitable alternatives where useful.

    , then
  2. 02

    Confirm

Specification, quantity, pricing, lead time and delivery arrangements are confirmed with you before the order proceeds.

    , then
  3. 03

    Fulfil

The order is prepared to the confirmed list. If anything changes on availability, you are told before it is substituted.

    , then
  4. 04

    Deliver

Delivery is arranged to the agreed address and timing for that order.

    , then
  5. 05

    Reorder

Repeat requirements can be reviewed and reordered, keeping the same confirmed products where they remain available.
